Studio Tour: Enroot Students Go Inside Emerson College
On January 20, 2026, about 40 students from Enroot got a look inside the kind of professional spaces most young filmmakers never get to enter. Enroot is a Cambridge nonprofit that helps immigrant youth succeed academically and professionally through out-of-school programs that blend academics, mentoring, and career readiness.
Hosted by Emerson College in Boston, students toured the school’s production spaces, including the Paramount Sound Stage in the historic Paramount Center, the Tufte television studios, and the Bright Family Screening Room. They got a feel for what studying at Emerson’s School of Film, Television, and Media Arts is really like.
Thank you to Dr. Anthony L. Pinder, Pierre Huberson, and Interim Dean Shaun Clarke at Emerson, and to Laura Montoya at Enroot. Afterward, Enroot told us the students were truly happy and excited.
Want to see it yourself? Emerson offers free student-led campus tours, and you can book a visit here. To support Enroot’s students, look into getting involved.
This visit was supported in part by a Creative Experiences grant from the Mass Cultural Council.
